Millwright 433A – Night Shift (12:00am–8:00am)

Location: Greater Toronto Area Industry: Plastics & Packaging Manufacturing Shift: Night Shift (12:00am–8:00am) Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

We are currently seeking a skilled Millwright 433A($40-45/hr) to join our night-shift maintenance team.

? Position Summary

The Millwright will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production equipment under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager. This role supports the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Equipment exposure includes: Jomar, Husky, Nissei, Beckum, and other injection, extrusion, and blow?molding machinery.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on production equipment.

• Complete assigned maintenance work orders and ensure proper documentation.

• Report machine deficiencies, oil leaks, irregularities, and unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Manager.

• Requisition machine parts and equipment through the Maintenance Manager.

• Monitor and report low inventory levels for parts and supplies.

• Support continuous improvement and safe work practices within the maintenance team.

? Education & Certifications

Required:

• Completion of a recognized program in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or related discipline

• OR equivalent competency demonstrated through relevant employment history

Preferred:

• College diploma in a related field

• Valid Millwright 433A License  

? Experience

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of related maintenance experience in Canada

Preferred:

• Experience in plastics manufacturing, including injection, extrusion, or blow molding environments

? Skills & Training

Required:

• ISO 9001 Introduction

• GMP/GDP knowledge

• Ability to complete in?house safety training (1 week)

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within the maintenance team

• Strong troubleshooting and problem?solving abilities
