Become a Software Engineering Expert at Pillexa, located in Surrey, BC. Lead the development of impactful healthcare solutions while guiding a team of engineers for quality outcomes.
Pillexa is on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of vital areas within our commerce platform. In this on-site role, you will engage in architecture discussions, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality code while working with technologies like Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement key features across the platform
• Guide architectural decisions and rationale documentation
• Oversee complex areas of the system architecture
• Create PostgreSQL schemas and scaling strategies
• Set up alerts and monitoring dashboards within Datadog
Requirements:
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience
• Expertise in TypeScript and Next.js
• Strong backend experience in Node.js and Express
• Experience with service deployment on AWS
• Track record of mentoring and guiding engineers
