Transit Supervisor With Leadership Focus Whistler

Provide exceptional leadership as a Transit Supervisor, ensuring secure and productive operations for a team of over 80 Transit Operators in the Sea to Sky Region.

Your role will prioritize safety, compliance, and service excellence. As the Transit Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing transit operations across Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton. Leveraging your supervisory experience, you will ensure adherence to safety standards and address operational challenges in real-time. Developing a culture of inclusivity and efficiency will be essential for delivering superior service.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and support transit operators
• Monitor and respond to operational communications
• Implement necessary routing and assignment changes
• Conduct annual evaluations of transit operators
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Several years of experience as a Transit Operator
• Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s license with air brake
• Solid conflict resolution and leadership skills
• Familiarity with SMI, GFI, or scheduling tools is an asset
