Account Executive - Commercial Lines

Summary

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to support a current broker in managing an existing book of business, with the opportunity to write new business as well. This role is ideal for someone who is service-focused, motivated, and looking to continue building their career in Commercial Lines insurance. The successful candidate will work closely with the broker to help manage client accounts, provide excellent service, and identify opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing and servicing an existing book of Commercial Lines business
  • Provide professional, responsive service to clients
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to write new business
  • Review client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Support retention and account development efforts
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and insurer partners
  • Work independently while supporting the overall growth and service goals of the book of business

Qualifications

  • RIBO licensed professional
  • 2–5 years of Commercial Lines insurance experience
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A team-oriented approach with a strong commitment to client service
  • CAIB, post-secondary education, or other industry-related designations would be considered an asset
