Location: Victoria Square Shopping Centre, Regina, SK
About the Role Victoria Square is launching a new weekly indoor and outdoor community market featuring local vendors, fresh produce, family activities, live entertainment, and food trucks. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Market & Events Coordinator to help build and grow this exciting community destination. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruit and communicate with vendors.
Promote the weekly market through social media, community outreach, and local advertising.
Welcome vendors on market days and assist with check-in and setup.
Coordinate booth assignments and ensure smooth market operations.
Collect vendor payments and maintain accurate records.
Answer vendor and customer inquiries professionally.
Ensure vendors comply with market rules and safety requirements.
Coordinate entertainment, promotions, and special activities.
Assist with vendor recruitment for future markets.
Work closely with mall management to improve the market experience each week. Qualifications
Friendly, outgoing, and excellent customer service skills.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Comfortable using social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Able to work independently and solve problems.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
Able to lift up to 25 lb and work both indoors and outdoors.
Weekend availability is required.
Preferred
Experience organizing events, farmers' markets, trade shows, festivals, or retail promotions.
Sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
