Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant

Job Responsibility: Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 6,100 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region. The Educational Assistant works under the supervision of a certificated teacher. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Educational Assistant Diploma is preferred
• CPR/First Aid would be considered an asset
• Experience working with children in a classroom/organized setting is preferred
• You have the ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks, as well as assist with personal care.
• You have the ability to meet outside of school hours.
• You have the ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of AAC device would be an asset.
