The Information Systems Supervisor is located in Meaford at the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre and typically reports directly to the Meaford Site Manager. Their primary focus is responsibility for the leadership of a three personnel technical support team, IAW CBO policies and the effective implementation and administration of the LFCA TC Meaford contract to achieve the required performance in all assigned areas. The primary areas of contractual responsibility are Liaison with Training Centre Signals staff; IS network administration and maintenance; installations, moves and changes to computer systems, telephones, audio-visual systems; satellite TV systems, CCTV systems, and mobile devices under the direction of the Site Manager.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Achieve required contract performance standards, other assigned objectives, and financial targets. Provide reports, as required. This may include performing hands-on technical work appropriate to qualifications and needs.

• Provide leadership to all departmental staff. Directly supervise performance of department supervisors and sub-contractor supervisors. Manage performance of all staff to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and CBO policies and procedures.

• Monitor performance and liaise with any required service subcontractors.

• Liaise with CBO Site Management staff to develop plans and budgets, monitor performance and resolve problems.

• Support and participate in related CBO corporate initiatives, as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Diploma in Computer Science

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Personnel responsible for managing the information systems to have at least 5 years of experience as managing information systems

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Proficient knowledge and understanding of:

• Business operations processes

• Organization and time management

• Excellent oral and written communications skills (English)

Proficient user of:

• MS Office (Office 365 suite, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Teams)

• Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Endpoint Configuration Manger

• Operating Systems Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Server 2012-2019

*Must be able to achieve and maintain a Government of Canada Security Clearance*
