Job Summary

We are continually searching for great talent. The role is Specialist, Vendor Performance within the Default Solutions division, reporting to the Manager, Collections and Recoveries. The specialist works in partnership with the Vendor Performance Lead and other team members to support and manage the performance of assigned network vendors, ensuring delivery of results and value to our growing client base.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage Law Firms, Collection Agencies, Skip Tracers and/or Process Servers in accordance with client expectations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and manage vendor performance by utilizing KPI reporting to identify trends and opportunities for coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Manage network communications, including program updates, changes, and file escalations.
  • Complete vendor performance assessments with feedback presented to the vendor, noted workplans, and follow up to ensure program standards.
  • Complete assigned operational tasks and act as 'back up' to cover additional tasks as required, based on client requirements.
  • Act as SME on project participation, attend meetings, and complete system testing relevant to the line of business.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Collections, Litigation, or debt recovery with secured or unsecured bank products; knowledgeable of legal remedies for consumer and commercial accounts.
  • Prior credit lending experience an asset.
  • Excellent time-management, prioritization, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, self-motivated, customer focused, assertive, able to learn quickly, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with customer relationship management systems.
  • Ability to travel within Canada (minimal).

Compensation

Total Direct Compensation: $64,300 – $78,800 (CAD).

The pay range reflects the total expected compensation for the role, including base pay and potential incentives.
