Lead Fence Installer

Job Summary

Field staff members deliver and install temporary fence. They work together with guidance from a Supervisor and Operations Manager, coordinate truck loading, and strive to provide the best customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and install temporary fence at job sites.
• Collaborate with supervisors, operations team, and fellow crew members.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Maintain high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a one‑tonne truck delivering materials safely to and from job sites.
• Experience supervising a crew and acting as the lead hand onsite.
• Familiarity with safely setting up and tearing down fence.
• Experience completing operational paperwork (job reports, truck inventory logs, site checklists, etc.).
• Knowledgeable of Sunbelt’s key products/services and ability to resolve customer issues.
• Working closely with the Operations team to solve on‑site issues.

Skills & Abilities

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Ability to work weekends or longer hours when required.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy fence panels (up to 50 pounds or more).
• Effective navigation to ensure crew arrives safely and expediently.
• Own reliable transportation.
• Safe and defensive driving habits.
• Experience operating tablets and smartphones.
• Knowledge of general tools and equipment (drills, power washer, painters, banding equipment, etc.).

Physical Demands

Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors and outdoors as required by the job.

Compensation

Base pay range $23.35–$33.55 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on location, education, training, and experience.
