What you will be doing:

Tangerine is looking for a motivated strategic and customer-obsessed Senior Digital Product Owner to help shape and deliver the next generation of digital experiences for Tangerine Business clients.

Reporting to the Director Digital Product & Experience you will be responsible for defining managing and optimizing key digital capabilities that support business clients across their onboarding engagement and day-to-day banking needs. You will play a critical role in building scalable simple and intuitive digital experiences that help entrepreneurs and business owners get more value from Tangerine.

You will lead and inspire an agile delivery team work closely with cross-functional partners and translate business goals client needs and data insights into high-quality digital product features. This role requires someone who can bring structure to ambiguity balance strategy with execution and drive outcomes across a fast-moving and evolving digital business portfolio.

Is this role right for you - In this role you will:

• Develop and own the product vision roadmap and backlog for digital capabilities supporting Tangerine Business clients.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of new and enhanced digital experiences that make it easier for business clients to discover register onboard engage and manage their relationship with Tangerine.
• Translate business priorities client needs operational considerations and technical requirements into clear product features user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner closely with business technology design analytics marketing legal compliance risk operations and other key stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver the right client outcomes.
• Apply incremental delivery principles to drive business value early and often while enabling feedback loops stakeholder reviews and continuous improvement.
• Lead the agile delivery team with clarity and purpose ensuring the team understands the vision scope priorities and definition of done.
• Prioritize the backlog based on client value business impact data insights risk complexity and delivery readiness.
• Use KPIs digital funnel metrics client feedback and product performance data to inform decisions and optimize the experience over time.
• Facilitate problem-solving across the team helping turn ambiguity into clear decisions actionable deliverables and measurable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to simplify journeys improve adoption reduce friction and create more value for business clients.
• Support discovery and innovation work by exploring new digital capabilities service models and partnership opportunities that can strengthen Tangerines business banking proposition.
• Communicate progress risks decisions and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure delivered solutions are client-centric compliant scalable operationally supportable and aligned to Tangerines digital experience standards.
• Act as the voice of the client and the business within the delivery team ensuring the team is always focused on building the right thing.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role - Wed love to work with you if you have:

• University or College degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years of related experience in digital product management product ownership digital banking business banking fintech platform delivery or technical solution delivery.
• 3 years working in an agile scrum team in a Product Owner capacity.
• Strong experience defining product vision roadmaps backlogs user stories acceptance criteria and delivery priorities.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex digital product delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align different teams around a common vision and outcome.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using product metrics funnel data client insights and performance reporting to guide decisions.
• Ability to break down complex problems into clear actionable plans for delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of digital client journeys onboarding experiences self-serve capabilities and customer lifecycle management.
• Experience with business banking small business clients digital marketplaces partner ecosystems client registration onboarding or engagement platforms is an asset.
• Working knowledge of software development digital platforms APIs mobile/web experiences or modern product delivery practices is an asset.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving environments with the ability to bring structure clarity and momentum.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for delivery teams business partners and senior leaders.
• Strong delivery discipline attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
