• Plan, organize, and monitor the daily work to be performed in your department
• Distribute and assign tasks to employees with the support of your team leader
• Ensure effective management of all operational activities in your department to meet health, safety, quality, and productivity objectives
• Implement improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of operational activities
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures to protect your team
• Foster and maintain a positive work environment within the team and promote healthy working relationships

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

• Relevant recognized training combined with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
• You are able to plan and organize a team's work effectively.
• Your employees' health and safety at work is your priority.
• You are recognized as a leader capable of motivating a team.
• You are a good communicator, both in groups and individually.
• You enjoy juggling multiple tasks.
• You are comfortable working with Outlook, Excel, and various other systems.
