Product Manager

Retailogists

Position: Product Manager

Location: Montreal, Canada (in-office, full-time)

We're a Montreal-based retail technology company operating as both a growth partner firm and a tech product company. Retailogists scales retail businesses as a true growth partner, fully accountable for measurable business outcomes. Our team includes experts across all key retail functions (marketing, engineering, operations, design, data science, and executive leadership) working together to drive profitable growth. Beyond services, we also build and sell our own tech products (Avia, Orca, Kora, and what's next), developed from direct client experience.

Position Overview

We're hiring a Product Manager to own a book of client accounts within Retailogists' growth partner practice: their P&L, their billables, and their performance outcomes. You'll run each account end to end, reprioritizing as needs shift, aligning internal teams, and making the calls that keep your book profitable and your clients winning. You'll also feed client-side insight back into our product roadmap (Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products).

Why Join Us

  • Work directly with C-levels and decision-makers at leading retail businesses, starting from day one
  • Own accounts across a varied client base (apparel, footwear, specialty retail)
  • Fast-paced, low-bureaucracy, performance-based environment where results are directly rewarded
  • Influence the roadmap of Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products through direct, real-world client exposure

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own book of business: a portfolio of client accounts you own accountability for
  • Drive growth on your accounts: sales performance, ecommerce revenue, and commercial initiatives, not just delivery
  • Accountable for billables on your accounts, hitting revenue targets per client
  • Own P&L per engagement; track margin, flag scope creep, control costs
  • Identify and close upsell or expansion opportunities within your book
  • Accountable for improving client performance outcomes, not just delivering scope, but proving measurable business impact
  • Reprioritize workstreams in real time as client requirements, blockers, or business priorities change
  • Run project management across concurrent client engagements (timelines, dependencies, resourcing)
  • Lead digital transformation and systems integration projects for large retailers, spanning ecommerce platforms, WMS, POS, and ERP
  • Align internal teams (engineering, consulting, founders) around shifting client priorities
  • Make and own strategic trade-off calls: what to build, defer, or push back on with a client
  • Surface client-driven insights and feature gaps to inform the roadmap for Avia, Orca, Kora, and future products
  • Report account health, billables, and financial performance to leadership on a regular cadence

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as a top performer in ecommerce/digital leadership, marketing, sales, retail operations, product management, or strategy consulting, with direct accountability for revenue or business performance
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership: budget management, margin tracking, cost control
  • Track record of driving measurable growth (revenue, ecommerce sales, or account expansion), not just delivering on scope
  • Experience leading a digital transformation or systems integration project (ecommerce, WMS, POS, ERP) is a strong asset
  • Strong project management skills: multiple concurrent projects, on time and on budget
  • Comfortable making prioritization calls under ambiguity and pushing back on stakeholders when needed
  • Retail or retail tech industry experience required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

What We Offer

  • Competitive base compensation plus performance-based incentives tied to book performance and billables
  • Full-time, in-office role in Montreal
  • Direct exposure to C-suite decision-making and executive-level strategic thinking
  • Fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment
