The Opportunity:

As a Child Care Leader, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young children and their families as they utilize Genesis Place. You will work closely as part of a team to provide a safe, clean, engaging, and nurturing environment for children in your care. Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing quality child care services to children whose families utilize Genesis Place
• Interacting with and caring for children ages infant to 6 years
• Providing fun activities in a safe and enjoyable environment
• Great customer service and communication skills
• Providing a healthy and clean area for children to play and explore

You Bring:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid Certification
• Level 1 ECE/Child Development Worker certification would be an asset.
• Experience working with and caring for children
• Experience working with and caring for children.
• A genuine desire to work with children.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Additional Information:

This is a part time position (approximately 20 hours per week - hours are not guaranteed). This position will include a variety of shifts throughout the week (including weekends) such as day and evening shifts. Successful candidates must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and will be required to lift, bend, and kneel. Sitting on low chairs and the floor will be required for the majority of the shifts.
