The Seasonal Sales Associate position is fast-paced, involving constant interaction with customers to assist them with their lawn and garden needs.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Provide customers with friendly, informed service about products-Guide customers to location of products
-Stock shelves and display areas
-Keep the Seasonal department neat and tidy
-Adhere to company, store and department policies
-Complete other tasks, as required MAJOR REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES -Ability to provide professional customer service and employee support
-Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals
-Ability to maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
-Organizational ability and attention to detail
-Ability to multi-task
-Punctuality PHYSICAL DEMANDS (refers to an 8-hour shift with standard breaks)-Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours
-Able to lift 50 lbs unassisted and carry as required
-Ability to lift and turn repeatedly throughout the shift
