Remote Public Health Nurse Opportunity

Embrace the call of adventure as a Remote Public Health Nurse with Bayshore HealthCare. Work in Northern Communities of Nunavut and enhance your nursing expertise while making a significant impact. This 6-week assignment focuses on leading health promotion initiatives across Indigenous communities. Candidates must hold a nursing license in good standing and be ready to engage in an expanded scope of practice. Position includes planning educational programs, delivering wellness activities, and ensuring client safety and comfort. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead health promotion initiatives and wellness activities
- Plan and deliver educational campaigns for healthy living
- Collaborate in a team to provide comprehensive care
- Apply advanced nursing skills in assessment and counseling
- Ensure client comfort and safety within nursing scope
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Nursing
- 3,000 hours as a Public Health Nurse or 1,500 hours in remote care
- Licensed in good standing with provincial governing body
- Willingness to work in diverse and flexible environments
- Ability to obtain required additional training
