Montreal Electrical Designer - Solar & Hybrid Systems

Artelia is seeking an Electrical Designer in Montreal skilled in solar PV and hybrid systems. Contribute to innovative projects and manage complex electrical designs with confidence. As an Electrical Designer, your role will focus on designing electrical systems tailored for renewable energy applications. With 8 or more years of relevant experience, you will be responsible for system calculations, creating detailed diagrams, and assisting in equipment specifications. Expertise in software like AutoCAD or EPLAN is preferred to efficiently manage design tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze electrical systems for hybrid applications
• Perform load flow and cable sizing calculations
• Develop wiring schematics, single-line diagrams, and layouts
• Collaborate with internal teams towards compliance with safety standards
• Review and coordinate vendor documents and technical submissions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years experience with DC systems and power distribution
• Strong grounding and control principle knowledge
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or EPLAN software
• Required bilingual proficiency in English and French
