The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education (TCRCE) encompasses the three (3) Counties of Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby serving approximately 6100 students in twenty-two (22) schools, composed of 13 Elementary Schools, 6 High Schools, 1 Middle School, and 2 Elementary/High Schools.

TITLE: 100% Term Vacancy Teacher - Shelburne County Schools (Lockeport to Barrington)

REPORTS TO:

• Coordinator of Employment & Labour Relations 

ASSIGNMENT:

• Term Vacancy Teacher
• Successful candidate will work at various schools within their county

• Successful candidate will report to the Coordinator of Employment & Labour Relations (Human Resources)

• Mileage is not paid above salary. 

• Flexibility to alternate schools on an as needed basis

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
• Bachelor of Education

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Should have experience teaching grades P-12.
• Experience and Qualifications in teaching French, Math, and Science is an asset
• Proven ability to communicate and work alongside diverse cultural and racial backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
• Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
