Remote Power Systems Studies Engineer

Transform the energy sector as a Power System Studies Engineer with Jacobs, working remotely across North America. Deliver impactful studies to support renewable energy initiatives. Jacobs seeks a dedicated engineer with a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and a solid background in system studies. You will work closely with various stakeholders, conducting power system analyses and driving projects across North American markets. Your expertise will help ensure the successful integration of renewable generation systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform power system studies internal and external to projects
• Oversee compliance with NERC standards and interconnection
• Manage project phases from proposal to execution
• Collaborate with teams across North America
• Liaise with developers, utilities, and ISO/RTOs

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven 4+ years experience in renewable system studies
• Expertise in PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD
• Understanding of applicable standards like CIGRE
• Strong interpersonal and analytical abilities
