Gas Engineer

Job Responsibility:

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of natural gas systems and infrastructure
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations for gas projects
• Monitor compliance with safety codes, environmental standards, and industry regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and third-party contractors
• Optimize gas flow systems for safety and efficiency
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and cost estimates
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure the integrity and safety of pipelines, pressure vessels, and gas-related equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or eligibility is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of gas systems, safety protocols, and industry standards (e.g., CSA Z662, ASME)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or PipeSim
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Willingness to travel to remote job sites as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.91-$46.80 per hour
