Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations at Cascade Tents Inc. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of inventory and logistics for our event services. The Warehouse Manager will play a key role in maintaining our commitment to timely service and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and organization.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate order fulfillment for events.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems to optimize processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating heavy equipment.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of equipment for events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet event requirements effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
