Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Shared work load between Metal Fabrication & Warehouse departments
• Inspection, maintenance, and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
• Move, Load and unload material
• Maintain proper housekeeping of work area
• Assume other related tasks at the request of the Department Manager, Supervisor or Team Lead

Skills, Education, and/or Experience The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the Forklift Operator Profile or candidates for the position:

• Ability to operator a forklift
• Safe driving record
• Recogonized organization training an asset. Mandatory In House training provided.
• Must have good mechanical skills
• Able to use computers proficiently
• Possess a positive attitude
• Able to be coached and must have a willingness to learn
• Communicate clearly and effectively with others
• Able to work proficiently in a team-oriented setting, as well as independently
• Additional instructions from a Team Lead, and complete the work as described
• Punctuality and good attendance are a must
• Able to work overtime as needed

Job Conditions Physical Demands:

• Light physical effort - able to lift up to 20lbs at times.
• Sitting, lifting, squatting, pushing, or reaching for intermittent or extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Factory, Warehouse, Distribution Center, Office.
• May be exposed to loud, repetitive sounds from machinery or equipment.
• May use chemicals or other in accordance with MSDS.
• May operate machinery in close proximity or with objects exposed to eyes or face.
