ABOUT THE COMPANY

Velixo sells Excel-native reporting and automation with a live, two-way connection to Sage Intacct, Acumatica, MYOB, and Business Central — no exporting, no pasting, no rebuilding. 3,400 finance teams already run on it. The next stage of growth depends on reaching controllers and FP&A leaders who have never heard our name, and earning their attention the only way that lasts: by making them better at their jobs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior individual contributor role reporting into Marketing. The Finance Evangelist works across the full go-to-market motion — from building a content engine and owning a publishing cadence, to representing Velixo on stage at industry events. This is not a support function for sales; it is a market-facing expertise role whose authority in mid-market finance creates pipeline at scale. The position is remote-friendly with regular travel to tradeshows, partner events, and the occasional team gathering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Become the voice of Velixo in mid-market finance.  Build a real audience of controllers, FP&A leaders, and CFOs across our owned channels and the places they already gather: LinkedIn, the Sage Intacct and Acumatica communities, partner ecosystems, and the conference circuit. The goal is a voice this community comes back to on purpose, and steady reach into companies that have never been in our database. 

Teach finance, not features.  Produce the webinars, tutorials, videos, and deep-dive sessions that make practitioners genuinely better at consolidation, the monthly close, grant and program reporting, and board prep. Show Velixo where it earns the moment. Keep a consistent cadence and turn every major session into clips, posts, and written pieces so one hour of teaching works for months. 

Show what good looks like.  Build worked examples and prototypes against real finance problems: a multi-entity close that takes a morning instead of a week, a grant report that reconciles itself, an audit pack that holds up. When a showcase deserves to become a product template, hand it to the team that owns the program. 

Represent Velixo in the room.  Travel to tradeshows, partner events, and industry conferences and be the reason people remember the booth. Land the speaking slots that put our point of view in front of the right buyers. 

Bring the market back inside.  Track what is shifting in finance, accounting, Excel workflows, and mid-market ERP, including the new AI tooling, and feed specific, useful insight into positioning and product. Find the customers whose results are worth telling and work with Marketing to turn them into stories, ideally with the real spreadsheets behind them. 

FIRST YEAR MILESTONES
90 Days
Deep on the product and the buyer. First signature talk or webinar shipped. Publishing rhythm established on owned channels.
6 Months
A recognizable voice with a growing subscriber base. Present on the trade show floor. A library of teaching content that keeps working after it ships. 
12 Months
Net new companies from our addressable market entering the funnel because of your audience. Influenced pipeline moving toward close. Real standing in the Intacct and Acumatica communities.

WHO YOU ARE

• Strong background in accounting, finance, FP&A, or ERP — credibility earned from sitting in a controller's chair
• Deep, hands-on command of Excel, financial modeling, and reporting
• Experienced with mid-market realities: multi-entity consolidation, ideally nonprofit or fund reporting
• Outstanding speaker and writer — at ease in front of large audiences and on camera
• Experience producing content across video, webinar, and written formats
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Acumatica, or Business Central is a strong asset
• You'd rather build a compelling example than describe one
