Jr. Process Operator

The Role
Reporting to the process supervisor, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Cigar Lakes process areas. This entry-level role will provide you with the opportunity to learn and grow with Cigar Lakes process team and is well suited for a motivated individual who wants to be involved in the day-to-day operations of the site.

In this role, you will:
-Operate circuits as per outlined procedures and guidelines.
-Identify, document, and report any maintenance concerns.
-Assist senior operators as required.

Required:  
-grade 12 or equivalent;
-three to five years of mill or process operation work experience, preferably in the uranium industry;
-industrial water treatment experience;
-equivalent combination of education and experience considered;
-valid Class 5 drivers license;
-ability to work independently and in a team environment;
-comfortable working on both surface and underground; and
-work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.

Recommended:
-previous experience in an industrial workplace or uranium mill;
-potable water treatment level 1 and level 2 certification; and
-wastewater treatment level 1 certification.

Conditions of Employment:
