Rail Systems Construction Manager

Lead railway systems construction for ACCIONA’s Eglinton Crosstown West Extension in Toronto, coordinating contractors, interfaces, safety, quality, and commissioning readiness.The Systems Construction Manager directs multidisciplinary field execution across signaling, traction power, communications, SCADA, and train control systems. You will oversee constructability reviews, procurement packages, installation, integration, testing support, and handover activities. The work spans civil-to-systems transitions across the 9.2-kilometre corridor.Key Responsibilities:
Lead railway systems construction throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate contractors, suppliers, designers, and civil construction teamsManage access, logistics, staging, and phased handoversEnforce safety, quality, LOTO, and construction controlsTransfer completed work packages to Testing and CommissioningRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant industrial trade license10+ years managing major infrastructure construction projectsAt least 5 years leading multi-discipline rail systems installationExperience with Design-Build or Progressive Design-Build deliveryKnowledge of OHSA, CEC, and Metrolinx or TTC rulesApply railway construction leadership, systems integration, contractor management, and safety expertise to ACCIONA’s Toronto transit infrastructure project.
