Global Legal Counsel in Payments

Drive legal strategy for payment products as a Global Legal Counsel. This role emphasizes expertise in payments, cross-border financial infrastructure, and digital assets across multiple jurisdictions. We are seeking a qualified lawyer with at least six years' experience to support our expanding business. Your role will involve advising on regulatory compliance with global licensing, payment services, and digital assets. You will collaborate with compliance and business teams to ensure alignment across jurisdictions, while managing relationships with regulators and external counsel. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on payment service regulatory requirements
- Lead licensing applications and regulatory engagements globally
- Assess implications of cross-border payment products
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting payments and digital assets
- Draft and negotiate legal documentation for payment services
- Qualified lawyer with 6+ years of experience
- Expertise in payments regulations and fintech legal issues
- Knowledge of stablecoins and blockchain payment systems
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
