About the role

You are responsible for creating on trend looks that are uniquely Gap – distinctive, while bringing out each customer’s original style. You arean expert in all things fashion and culture. You contribute to a positive, friendly, and inclusive environment that inspires and makes customers feel welcome. You thrive on driving an exceptional customer experience by strengthening the customer’s emotional connection to the brand, engaging authentically and with intent.

What you'll do

• Proactively engage with customers, showing genuine interest in understanding and addressing their needs. Notice subtle cues to personalize product recommendations.
• Storyteller who uses knowledge to make product suggestions feel meaningful.
• Educate customers about loyalty programs.
• Support multiple areas of the store including: sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, back of house, as required.
• Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment.

• To be considered for this role, applicants must:
• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Not require current or future employment sponsorship to work in Canada.
• Be willing to learn and use technology tools, including mobile devices, apps, and registers, used in day-to-day operations.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Be able to perform the essential functions of the role, including standing, walking, moving throughout the store, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
