Security Guard - North Vancouver

We are currently looking for Security Officers to join our team at a shopping centre in North Vancouver for full-time and part-time positions.

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Please note that shift start or end times may fall outside of regular transit hours, so candidates with a vehicle that they can use to get to and from the site are preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the site
• Provide excellent customer service
• Communicate with clients, tenants, members of the public, and emergency responders
• Handle evictions and de-escalate conflict situations
• Write detailed incident reports
• Enforce property rules and bylaws
• Other duties to meet operational needs

You are a good fit if you have:

• A valid BC Security Worker License
• Prior work experience in the security industry and customer service
• Experience handling aggression or dealing with incidents independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to complete the job duties, including patrolling indoors and outdoors for the majority of your shift
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
