Medical Science Liaison, Women’s Health – QC

Medical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as a primary point of contact between Bayer and thought leaders, serving as the scientific expert to education and evidence generation for the women’s health therapeutic area.

What you will do:

  • Exchange and disseminate scientific educational and research information as the PPOC for assigned TLs, engaging proactively and reactively via omnichannel formats to clarify and educate on scientific data, study protocols, conference abstracts, publications and clinical guidelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key TLs, fostering strong partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor to shape outcomes.
  • Identify, profile, segment, and engage thought leaders, translating the local medical plan into actionable engagement plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Generate and communicate TL insights on current clinical practice, beliefs, and unmet medical needs to cross‑functional partners.
  • Stay current on scientific research in the therapeutic area and develop a deep understanding of Bayer’s market strategies and the healthcare landscape.
  • Coordinate and organize scientific learning activities, including regional consultant meetings and other learning events.
  • Collect investigator‑initiated research ideas and facilitate IIR set‑up, serving as the PPOC for investigators.
  • Support medical operations and site management for non‑interventional and interventional trials, including feasibility, initiation visits, and data collection.
  • Provide training on disease state, Bayer products, and competitor products for internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Document medical information queries in alignment with MI handling procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance by reporting safety–related information within 24 hours.
  • Foster an inclusive work environment, ensuring safety and compliance requirements are met.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in a science‑related field (MD, PharmD, PhD preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer‑facing medical affairs role or related pharmaceutical activities.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and transferable skills across therapeutic areas.
  • Strong teamwork, independent working, and self‑starter abilities.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with digital technologies for communications, campaigns, or medical data analysis.
  • Demonstrated business acumen.
  • Mindset of dynamic shared ownership and customer centricity.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual French/English proficiency.

The base salary range for this role is between $108,000.00 and $158,000.00, with additional compensation such as bonuses or incentives. The potential Total Direct Compensation (TDC) range is $127,400 to $177,400, including base salary and possible performance‑based items.
