SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: Bilingual essential

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent is responsible of planning social, recreational and educational activities to maintain or promote maximum levels of independence and stimulation of patients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general studies (GED) plus an additional program in the field of human services or social sciences of over six months and up to one year or equivalent;
• Experience in educational settings, animation, recreation, intervention or helping relationships in an asset;
• Ability to organize group or individual activities;
• Autonomy, organizational skills, creativity and adaptability;
• Ability to work independently and as a team member;
• Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
• Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
• Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by Vitalité Health Network.
