Senior Infrastructure Performance Engineer

Lead infrastructure performance engineering for Scotiabank in Toronto, using deep troubleshooting and resiliency expertise across complex technology domains.This senior technical Engineer resolves high-impact infrastructure performance issues across GTEP. You will establish cross-domain practices spanning network, cloud, compute, storage, security, middleware, and database technologies. The work supports performance, scalability, resiliency, and operational excellence for business-critical applications and services.Key Responsibilities:
Resolve complex infrastructure performance and resiliency issues across GTEPSupport GNOC escalations through packet analysis and cross-platform diagnosticsDefine performance KPIs, baselines, thresholds, and service health metricsLead incident reviews, resiliency assessments, and performance validationEstablish reusable troubleshooting playbooks and engineering standardsRequirements:
Seven or more years in infrastructure engineering or SME rolesExpertise across network, security, cloud, compute, storage, and middlewareExperience leading major incidents and cross-domain troubleshootingExperience with observability platforms and diagnostic toolingKnowledge of routing, load balancing, DNS, TLS, firewalls, and VPNApply infrastructure performance, observability, and resiliency expertise to strengthen Scotiabank’s business-critical technology services in Toronto.
