AI model risk expertise meets independent second-line oversight at Manulife, supporting enterprise solutions through governance, assessment, and challenge.As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will assess AI-enabled solutions across business, technology, data science, and governance functions. You will address model risk management, operational risk, and regulatory compliance within a regulated financial services organization. Your work will support responsible adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI while strengthening oversight frameworks.Key Responsibilities:
Review medium- and high-risk AI use casesAssess machine learning and Generative AI risksEvaluate governance, controls, monitoring, and compliance processesDevelop independent risk opinions and executive reportingChallenge stakeholders while maintaining second-line independenceRequirements:
Seven or more years’ relevant Manager experienceTen or more years’ relevant Senior Manager experienceBachelor’s degree in a related disciplineExperience in model, operational, technology, or enterprise riskAbility to influence senior stakeholders on complex risksApply AI model risk, governance, and analytical expertise to strengthen Manulife’s enterprise oversight of emerging technologies.
