The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our Banking Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing complex business needs, improving operational efficiency, and drive innovation across the organization.

As a Manager you will be responsible for leading and supporting the team through large transformation projects. You will collaborate with key stakeholders as well as technical and functional teams. Your expertise will shape the team's strategy while fostering continuous improvement and innovation across the practice.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead data driven transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with client objectives.
• Conduct functional analysis to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Oversee system integration efforts, ensuring seamless connectivity between various platforms and applications.
• Perform data analysis to derive insights and support decision-making processes.
• Implement quality assurance practices to ensure the reliability and performance of the solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions using Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabrics, Microsoft Dynamics, and more.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

This position is available to candidates in various EY offices across Canada. Please note that due to the national scope of the role, proficiency in English is required.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of proven experience in data engineering, functional analysis, system integration, data analysis, solution architecture and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabrics, Microsoft Dynamics, and Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects effectively.
