Pricing Specialist (Sr)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Senior Pricing Specialist manages and maintains all price increases and special prices by accurately updating pricing, customer master data, and price pages. In addition, this position manages pricing standard operating procedures, training for Pricing Specialists and other functions on price processes, and leads pricing projects, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receives, processes, maintains, and troubleshoots all quote and special price requests from Sales Representatives with the specific needs of the organization in mind. Processes all quotes within 24-48 hours.
• Creates and maintains Customer Master data in SAP.
• Leads price increases for all CS&W divisions.
• Follow-up on and executes all requests accurately and efficiently.
• Leads quoting and special pricing efforts through collaboration with sales, customer service and management to ensure a smooth and seamless flow of information to establish pricing for all quotes and special pricing.
• Ensures all SOX compliance and ISO standards are met.
• Ensures pricing reports are run and reviewed daily.
• Communicates in timely manner to all pricing inquiries.
• Assists with completing internal and external audits.
• Monitors expiring special and job quotes to ensure extension or changes as needed.
• Serves as back up to other pricing functions such as ERP quoting.
• Supports team in area(s) of focus as needed to achieve optimal levels of customer satisfactions
• Prepares job specific pricing for various customers and inputs pricing information into OnBase.
• Holds training with sales, customer service, pricing specialist, etc when needed.
• Leads pricing operations projects with assistance/direction.
• Proactively reviews pricing to ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Completes root cause/corrective action analysis on pricing errors.
• Handling 1 st level escalations prior to engaging supervisor.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: High School diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 3-5 years of pricing or related experience preferred

OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced with mathematical calculations of costing, markups, margins.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision with a high level of accountability for actions.
• Ability to handle a large volume of phone calls, emails, and faxes.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members, managers, and internal departments whose functions directly or indirectly affect the service level to our customers.
• Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment effectively.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Office, Excel, Outlook).
• Previous SAP experience required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $67,530 and $84,420 plus a 12.5% bonus opportunity. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
