Engineering Director, High-Growth SaaS

Drive engineering success at Air-tek as the Engineering Director, focusing on Shared Services. Lead Infrastructure, DevOps, and Quality Assurance teams in a high-growth environment. Air-tek, renowned for its innovative software products, seeks an Engineering Director to form a strong backbone for its operations. In this role, you’ll unify engineering functions to enhance product quality and operational excellence, catering primarily to global airline customers. Your expertise in infrastructure and SaaS will be key to improving cross-functional collaboration and driving efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and expand Infrastructure, DevOps, and QA functions
Develop high standards for engineering architectures and practices
Create workflows that optimize shared services efforts
Implement improved delivery and estimation practices
Build a culture of trust and accountability within teams

Requirements:

Extensive experience in SaaS environments leading technical teams
Deep knowledge in distributed systems and APIs
Proven track record in developing scalable systems
Understanding of QA processes and automated testing
Strong communication skills handling complex technical contexts
