Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This temporary part-time role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality and catering industry. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area
• Oversee coffee machine settings and perform routine maintenance
• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to enhance their experience
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Barista experience preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates
• Experience in front of house roles is an advantage
• Experience overseeing coffee machine settings and maintenance
• Attention to detail and a passion for coffee
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good time management skills and the ability to multitask
