About the role

We’re looking for a Consultant or Specialist to join our Corporate Specialty Solutions team. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the option to work out of any office location in Canada. Key Responsibilities

Support SL Automobile and Transportation portfolio guidelines and other projects. Review, approve, modify or decline referrals. Contribute to research opportunities, emerging trends, markets and products. Provide development and project management support on various strategic initiatives. Engage and liaise with appropriate stakeholders and support the introduction of new products or material modifications to existing products. Assist in underwriting complex commercial policies. Contribute to the development or modification of underwriting guidelines. Support execution and oversight of Governance and Risk Management initiatives including referrals, compliance items, regulatory guidelines, audits, etc. Provide training and technical support to ensure consistent use of corporate guidelines and manage insurance risks. Represent Intact at national insurance industry groups. Qualifications

University degree and CIP or FCIP designation or any combination of equivalent education and experience. Minimum experience: 3 years in commercial underwriting for Consultant roles or 5 years for Specialist roles. Experience with telematics/connected vehicle data and commercial vehicle technology platforms is an asset; strong interest and willingness to learn is valued. Ability to build clear, compelling presentations that convey a coherent story and drive key messages. Highly proactive, able to manage multiple competing priorities and projects. Strong collaboration and influence skills. Highly organized and able to drive change through proactive focus on execution of needed improvements. Strong analytical, negotiating and decision‑making skills. Willingness to travel on occasion (up to 25%). For Quebec candidates, bilingualism (English) required for regular interaction with English‑speaking colleagues. No Canadian work experience required but need eligibility to work in Canada. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range:

87,200 - 106,600 CAD

(annual, based on a 35-hour workweek). Bonus:

10%
