Business Analyst - TPRM/Procurement

Are you a seasoned Business Analyst looking for a long-term contract opportunity?

Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Business Analyst - TPRM/Procurement. This position offers the chance to work within a high-profile Procurement Transformation Program, providing valuable exposure, visibility, and the opportunity for ongoing engagement based on performance.

Pay rate range (CAD): $61.59/hr – $73.91/hr

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with strategic goals
• Gather and translate requirements from business units to development teams
• Prepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions
• Apply business knowledge to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities
• Support complex business processes and multiple projects as part of a project team
• Serve as a liaison between the business community and IT teams to deliver technical solutions meeting user needs

Desired Skill-Set

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in business analysis or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Proven experience leading stakeholder discussions and eliciting user stories
• Proficiency with Confluence, Jira, and MS Office suite
• Experience documenting user stories and supporting Agile ceremonies
• Knowledge of QA, UAT processes, and functional testing support
• Banking or insurance industry experience
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze complex situations and develop innovative solutions
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with third-party management lifecycle, procurement systems, sourcing, contracting, and supplier management
• Additional qualifications such as an MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Prior experience working in a FI environment
