Carter Wellington is delighted to be representing our client in Edmonton, Alberta, in the recruitment of two Family Physicians to join a well-established and supportive medical practice.

The Opportunity

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) offering a highly competitive salary package of CAD $400,000 – $600,000 annually (to be negotiated). Physicians will provide comprehensive primary care services in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with other healthcare professionals to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Provide acute care and chronic disease management.
• Deliver counselling and support to patients and families on health and lifestyle issues.
• Contribute to a patient-centred, community-focused model of care.

Requirements

• Medical degree with CCFP certification.
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience.
• Eligible for professional liability insurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Multiple shifts available: day, evening, weekend, night, on-call, and overtime.
