- Préparer l'évaluation des coûts des matériaux et/ou de la main d'oeuvre
- Préparer des soumissions de préqualification pour présenter aux clients
- Lire les plans, les dessins et les spécifications pour déterminer les exigences du travail
- Faire fonctionner des systèmes de conception et de dessin assistés par ordinateur (CDAO) et d'autres systèmes informatiques
- Préparer une évaluation des dépenses générales
- Réaliser des études de rentabilité et fournir des devis estimatifs liés aux projets proposés
- Déterminer les besoins d'encaisse et de liquidités
- Créer et soumettre des rapports d'estimation, des feuilles de devis et des formulaires de soumission
- Suivre des procédures d'avant-métré
- Donner des conseils sur les procédures de soumission
- Analyser les soumissions et en recommander l'acceptation
- Mettre en place des procédures de contrôle et de rapports
- Surveiller et ajuster les dépenses du contrat
- Préparer et mettre à jour des répertoires de fournisseurs et d'entrepreneurs spécialisés
