Senior OpenShift and Kubernetes Platform Engineer supporting production administration, stability, and scalability across a 37-cluster enterprise environment for banking.Apex Systems seeks a senior platform engineer for hands-on production support within a growing container team. You will administer Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, modernize legacy platforms, and introduce new clusters. The work spans applications and infrastructure teams across business-critical environments.Key Responsibilities:
Administer OpenShift and Kubernetes production environments across 37 clustersPerform upgrades, patching, maintenance, and vulnerability remediationManage capacity, namespaces, quotas, and access requestsTroubleshoot incidents and support highly available container platformsSupport Redis Cache, Istio, Kafka, Grafana, Tempo, and DynatraceRequirements:
Five-plus years of enterprise OpenShift or Kubernetes experienceFive-plus years of production application or infrastructure supportStrong Linux or RHEL administration and shell scripting skillsExperience with change and incident management processesStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilitiesApply platform operations, Linux administration, and Kubernetes troubleshooting expertise to Apex Systems’ enterprise modernization environment.
