Senior Fraud Abuse Program Manager

Remote across Canada or the United States, this Senior Security Technical Program Manager role focuses on fraud prevention and abuse mitigation. Apply technical program management and cross-functional leadership to strengthen GitLab defenses.Within GitLab’s Trust and Safety team, you will coordinate fraud and abuse prevention workstreams across Security, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Finance. You will translate abuse trends into prioritized requirements, business cases, and actionable defense measures. The work includes payment fraud, account verification, and AI-supported risk identification.Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate cross-functional fraud and abuse mitigation workstreams through completionConvert abuse trends into prioritized, cost-quantified business requirementsPartner with Finance and Billing on payment fraud controlsDefine exposure metrics and report program outcomesEscalate high-impact Trust and Safety incidentsRequirements:
Five-plus years in technical program management, security, fraud, or risk operationsHands-on fraud or abuse experience at a SaaS or platform companyKnowledge of account takeover, payment fraud, bots, spam, and phishingTechnical fluency with web applications, APIs, identity, and billing systemsClear written communication for asynchronous remote workBring fraud expertise, technical fluency, and cross-functional execution to GitLab’s remote Trust and Safety programs.
