Wellness Counselor for Eating Disorders

Make a difference in student mental health at the University of Toronto as a Wellness Counselor in the Eating Disorders Program. Provide expert counseling and lead engaging health workshops. As a registered social worker, you will support students facing eating disorders and body image challenges. This role requires a Master's in Social Work and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. You'll focus on clinical counseling, identifying life-threatening situations, and promoting overall wellness. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients' mental health for tailored interventions
• Provide individual and group clinical counseling
• Identify and respond to life-threatening client situations
• Maintain accurate patient records for ongoing care
• Lead seminars and workshops focused on health education Requirements:
• Master’s in Social Work, registered with Ontario College
• Five years minimum experience in mental health fields
• Expertise in disordered eating and body image issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with diverse populations and challenges Drive positive change by fostering supportive environments in student health at the University of Toronto.
