Pay: $22.00/hour Position Type: Full Time Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation Shift Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Are you an experienced Healthcare Operations Centre Dispatcher looking to take the next step in your career? Paladin Security is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Healthcare Operations Centre Shift Lead to support daily operations and help ensure our healthcare security teams are properly staffed.

In this role, you will perform regular dispatch duties while providing leadership and support to the Operations Centre team. You will help coordinate staffing, maintain scheduling and billing accuracy, and support operational continuity during overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and fill cancellations and open shifts to ensure contractual coverage requirements are met.
• Perform regular Healthcare Operations Centre Dispatcher duties.
• Support daily operations by working with Security Officers, Site Supervisors, Client Service Managers, the Protective Services Control Centre, and Senior Management.
• Lead the Operations Centre in the absence of the supervisor.
• Monitor daily call-out expectations and help ensure operational procedures are followed.
• Support scheduling, billing, and payroll accuracy using Paladin's TEAM software.
• Review site rosters, code missed coverage, and help ensure accurate weekly billing.
• Coordinate hotel bookings and maintain the hotel booking calendar as required.
• Assist with training new Healthcare Operations Centre Dispatchers.
• Respond to emails and operational requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate shift incidents to the supervisor and manager through appropriate reporting.
• Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative team environment.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of contractual obligations for assigned healthcare portfolios.
• Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn new software and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional communication style.

Nice to Have

• Previous leadership or shift lead experience.
• Experience with scheduling, workforce management, billing, or payroll systems.
• Post-secondary education.
