Lead financial operations at myAbode, a top real estate platform in Canada. As Controller, you will create robust systems to manage over 30,000 transactions each year. This role focuses on innovative finance leadership, reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance. You will oversee functions such as treasury, payroll, and deal processing while building operational frameworks to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Ideal candidates are those with a creative mindset willing to implement effective strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement effective operational controls framework
• Drive clean month-end close and accurate reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable/receivable for large-scale operations
• Create forward-looking energetic rolling forecasts
• Oversee treasury and cash management systems

Requirements:

• CPA with 7+ years of finance experience
• Skilled in building finance operations from scratch
• Proficient in identifying and resolving process issues
• Comfortable making decisions with limited information
• Background in real estate or proptech is a plus
