Buyer/Expeditor – Job Summary
Bilingualism is mandatory.
We are seeking a Buyer/Expeditor to manage purchase orders, supplier follow-ups, and material availability to support uninterrupted operations. The role is focused on purchasing transactions, expediting, delivery tracking, supplier communication, and maintaining accurate ERP data .
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and release purchase orders and obtain supplier confirmations.
- Monitor supplier commitments, deliveries, and past-due orders.
- Keep ERP information accurate, including dates, quantities, pricing, and commitments.
- Resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
- Escalate material shortages and supplier issues.
- Support RFQs and sourcing activities.
- Ensure compliance with approved suppliers, contracts, and pricing.
Requirements:
- Bilingual in English and French – mandatory .
- High School Diploma required; DEC/Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, customer service, or supply chain.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems and managing large amounts of data.
Nice to Have:
- Aerospace industry experience.
- Oracle ERP experience.
- APICS/ASCM, PMAC, or equivalent procurement certification.
