Lead ERP implementation and plant performance as Director of Operations in a high-mix, low-volume fabrication and machine-building operation. Permanent, full-time leadership awaits.This Director of Operations role oversees production, planning, purchasing, stores, quality, and shop-floor teams. You will create bills of materials, production orders, and job-costing discipline while tracking labour efficiency and quality. The role supports a planned revenue expansion and offers development toward General Manager.Key Responsibilities:
Lead ERP implementation, item masters, BOMs, routings, and production ordersRun job costing and reconcile estimates against actual resultsSchedule capacity, labour, scrap, rework, and shop-floor performanceControl purchasing, inventory, stores, and material flowLead quality systems, custom builds, safety, and operations reportingRequirements:
Seven-plus years in manufacturing operationsThree-plus years leading production or plant operationsJob-shop, fabrication, or custom equipment manufacturing backgroundHands-on ERP implementation and job-costing experienceLean practice and Ontario health and safety knowledgeApply manufacturing leadership, ERP implementation, costing, and plant-performance expertise while developing toward General Manager responsibilities.
