Job Description
Our remote online school is seeking dedicated High School Teachers specializing in Math, Science or English subjects. Candidates must be experienced and proficient in delivering subject-specific instruction online, communicating with high school students and working online. Teachers will deliver the Ontario Curriculum, create assignments/tests/etc. based on the Ontario Curriculum, assess student progress, complete report cards, and engage in communication with students and parents.
Responsibilities
- Deliver subject-specific instruction aligned with the Ontario Curriculum
- Utilize online and distance learning
- Conduct student assessments and provide timely feedback
- Complete midterm and final report cards accurately
- Communicate effectively with students and parents as needed
- Plan and prepare individualized lesson plans
- Provide individualized student support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of teaching experience
