Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the sorting center warehouse, including goods receiving, sorting, cross-docking and other processes to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse performance and on-time completion of all logistics tasks.
- Formulate and optimize warehouse operational procedures and standards to improve work efficiency, cut operational costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, rationally plan inventory layout, guarantee accurate and complete inventory data, and promptly address inventory discrepancies and abnormal issues.
- Manage the warehouse team of the sorting center, covering recruitment, training, performance appraisal, motivation and career development to build an efficient and professional team.
- Organize regular training sessions to improve employees’ professional skills and service awareness, and ensure full compliance with operational workflows and safety regulations.
- Allocate daily tasks reasonably and deploy manpower flexibly based on business demands to ensure steady progress of all work.
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts, storage racks and sorting machines. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance, and troubleshoot potential failures to keep equipment in normal operation.
- Implement warehouse safety management rules, organize safety education and training, and require all staff to follow standard operating procedures to prevent safety incidents.
- Supervise fire safety, cargo safety and personnel safety in the warehouse. Arrange regular safety inspections and emergency drills to secure overall warehouse operation.
- Develop warehouse cost budgets and track expenses. Control operational costs effectively via process optimization and rational resource allocation.
- Establish a warehouse performance evaluation system, conduct regular performance assessment and analysis, and put forward improvement measures to continuously upgrade warehouse management standards.
- Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely cost accounting, and provide reliable data to support company decision-making.
- Maintain sound communication and collaboration with internal departments including procurement, sales and customer service, resolve workflow issues in a timely manner and ensure smooth information transmission.
- Keep close contact with external suppliers and carriers, coordinate cargo handling and delivery to ensure goods are delivered to customers accurately and on schedule.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback, resolve customer issues promptly, improve service quality and maintain good customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management or related fields are preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in sorting center or warehouse management; prior team management experience is a plus. Familiar with logistics industry operations and in-depth understanding of sorting center management.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and office software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis skills, capable of identifying problems and proposing solutions through data monitoring and analysis.
- Valuable leadership, communication skills and team spirit; able to motivate team members to achieve work goals.
- Excellent problem-solving and emergency response capabilities, able to stay calm and make quick decisions in complex working scenarios.
- Meticulous, responsible and well-organized with solid time management and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English for daily operational communication.
