Join Champs Mushroom as the HR Lead, overseeing the HR functions at the largest mushroom distributor in Western Canada. This role supports innovative HR practices that enhance employee satisfaction and performance.
In the Human Resources Lead position, you will be instrumental in implementing HR strategies that align with business goals, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. Focusing on employee relations, recruitment, and performance management, your leadership will ensure a high-performance culture. You will oversee day-to-day HR operations and manage a team of three HR personnel to foster compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute HR strategic plans
• Lead recruitment and employee engagement initiatives
• Manage performance management frameworks
• Address employee relations and compensation
• Guide HR personnel in policy implementations
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in HR management roles
• HR degree/diploma; CHRP is advantageous
• Experience in food manufacturing environments
• Strong interpersonal and business acumen
• Up-to-date knowledge of BC employment legislation
