Own Van Delivery Driver

Job Responsibility:
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver with own van to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and effective communication with both clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to various locations as scheduled.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any changes in schedule.
- Assist in warehouse duties when not driving, including organizing inventory and moving materials as required.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and move items safely.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
- Proficient in operating forklifts is desirable but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
